Family Orientation Registration

We welcome families of incoming students to join us for a series of webinars featuring our Anselmian community. Learn more about various opportunities and services we provide to make every aspect of your student's Saint Anselm experience a meaningful one. Read the descriptions below and register for any that you would be interested in attending. All sessions will take place via Zoom at 6pm EST.

New Student & Family Town Hall - Monday, June 8th
Presenters: President Joseph A. Favazza; Br. Isaac Murphy, OSB, Vice President of Student Affairs; Dr. Mark Cronin, Dean of the College; Dr. Alicia Finn, Dean of Students
Welcome to Saint Anselm College! President Favazza along with academic and student affairs leaders will be addressing incoming students and families and providing updates on the College's fall plans. Students are encouraged to attend this session with their families.

Financial Aid and Financial Services - Wednesday, June 10th
Presenters: Elizabeth Keuffel, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management and Director of Financial Aid; Erica Dobler, College Controller; Patricia Brunton, Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid; Shari Trabucchi, Associate Director of Financial Aid; Gail Rhames, Accounts Receivable Specialist
The session will provide relevant information about financial aid and financial services including understanding your students' financial aid and bill.

Residential Life and Health Services - Monday, June 15th
Panelists: Maura Marshall, APRN, MSN, Director of Health Services and Dr. Susan Weintraub, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residential Life and Education
Learn about the medical and mental health support provided by Health Services as well as all the mandatory student requirements needed prior to moving onto campus and starting classes. Additionally, you will learn about residential life—first year housing assignments, life in the residence halls, and how to prepare your student to move onto campus.

Academics - Wednesday, June 17th
Presenters: Stephanie Fernandez, Assistant Dean of Freshmen; Dr. Anne Harrington, Assistant Dean for Sophomores and Student Support Services; Dr. Christine Gustafson, Associate Dean of the College; Dr. Nicole Gugliucci, Assistant Professor of Physics; Kenn Walker, Director of Academic Resource Center and Disability Services
The session will provide an overview of the academic curriculum  and academic supports in place to help your student succeed.

Dean of Students - Monday, June 22nd
Panelists: Dr. Alicia Finn, Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students; Andrew Litz, Associate Dean of Students; Robert Browne, Director of Campus Safety and Security
This session will offer perspective from members of our Student Affairs team on campus life and the importance of involvement, as well as their goals and expectations for your student. They will also provide thoughts on how you can assist your student throughout their college experience, as well as how to help prepare and support your student prior to starting their Anselmian journey.

Student Engagement - Wednesday, June 24th
Panelists: Eleni Rizos, Class of 2021 and Orientation Leader Committee Chair; Jenoyce Laniyan, Class of 2021 and Intercultural Transitions Mentor; Jackson Heath, Class of 2021 and Resident Assistant; Jean Couture, Director of Student Engagement and Leadership; Dr. Susan Gabert, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Campus Ministry
Hear directly from students about their experience as an Anselmian and how their families assisted them in the transition to college and throughout their college journey. You will learn specifics regarding opportunities for involvement, why we encourage students to get engaged, and how your student’s experiences outside the classroom contribute to their academic and social success.
