Account Registration Information
Welcome to Saint Anselm College! The Office of Information Technology offers a host of web-based services. Among these services are Web-Based E-mail, Canvas, Citrix, and the Saint Anselm College Campus Portal (MyAnselm). All of these services use a common username and password which has already been setup for you. Your username and temporary password are indicated below. Before you can access these services, you will need to reset your password to something of your choosing. 

Please do not share your password with anyone. Your new password needs to adhere to these criteria:
  • At least eight characters long
  • Cannot use your username or full name
  • Must contain 3 of the following 4 characteristics:
    • At least one upper case character
    • At least one lower case character
    • At least one number
    • At least one special character
We encourage you to use a passphrase when selecting your new password. A passphrase is a combination of words, capitalization, and symbols that are easy for you to remember, but makes it harder for someone else or a computer to figure out. For example: "booksare100%COOL."

The Office of Information Technology offers a number of resources for your use. Here are some helpful links for you to save:
  • Apps.anselm.edu is the multifactor authentication dashboard which will allow you to launch many campus resources without having to log in to them individually. You will have access to the following once logged in:
    • College email account
    • Workday: System where you will register for classes, update your contacts, change your email password, apply for campus jobs, and more.
    • Canvas: Learning management system where faculty can post documents, assignments, tests, podcasts, polls and more. Students can use it to access course materials and communicate with faculty.
  • myanselm.anselm.edu is the College portal where you can view your financial aid.
  • connect.anselm.edu can be used for on campus and remote access to your network drives and files. It also allows access to a number of software.
  • helpdesk.anselm.edu is where you can submit, edit and see the status of Help Desk work orders. It also contains a knowledge base of common issues.
    • The Help Desk is located on the main level of the Geisel Library as part of the Learning Commons and is available for all Faculty, Staff and Students. The Help Desk is the central point of contact for all IT related questions. You can contact the Help Desk at x4357, 603-222-4295, helpdesk@anselm.edu or visit us in person.
    • Instructional Media Services is available for equipment reservations and can be contacted through the Help Desk at x4357, 603-222-4295.
Changing Your Password
1. Open the URL: www.anselm.edu/newstudents

2. Log in using the email address and temporary password provided above: 



3. Once you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. Enter in your current password and enter a new password: 



4. Once you have changed your password, you will be prompted to log back in, using your new password. 

5. After logging in with your new password, you will be redirected back to the Admissions New Student Page:
    









  







Congratulations! You are now ready to experience all the web-based sites that Saint Anselm has to offer. We do encourage you to setup your challenge questions. You should be prompted to set them up on your first time logging in. 

Please note, your password will need to be updated on a regular basis. If at any time you are unable to log in to your Saint Anselm College web-based services and you are certain you are entering the correct credentials, please contact the Help Desk. The Help Desk will be able to reset your password or help you with your log in. 

Please familiarize yourself with the College computer use policies located at this link. Please keep your account information private. Only you are allowed to use your account. Misuse of your account could mean loss of access to your account.
